Well, folks, as I mentioned in my last post, I am currently in the final testing stages with my RAW presets. I created them with the more powerful Lightroom RAW manipulator which allows the presets to access advanced functions in ACR that aren't
normally available.
So there are two sets: (1) NV Color Presets and (2) NV Vintage and BW
Presets. They are compatible with CS2, CS3 and Lightroom and give the
exact same results in all three programs. (I'm actually checking to see
if they will work with PSE 5 and CS ACR.). Also, when you purchase the presets, you get the
preset files for Photoshop and Lightroom (a huge boon to those of us
who own and use both interchangeably) and there are 25 presets in each
set.
Pricing will be the same as for all my other actions ($39 for each set, $69 for both, etc.) but I'm sure that I'll launch them with a group buy here on the blog which will be $34 each or both for $55. Also, I'm working on what I'm calling a Preset Add-on pack you will be able to purchase separately. It will be about $20 and will include a around 25-30 different "add-on" presets that just affect one part of the image (like adding a vignette or adjusting the exposure, etc.). Just have to work some of the bugs out of it. Add-on presets can be tricky with ACR.
So how's about some samples? Ready for all of these? With each of these examples, I did no adjustments. Just applied the preset to the SOOC image and resized for the web. Nothing else.

Thanks again to all you wonderful people who take the time to stop by here! And check back in a day or two for an update. I expect that these presets will be ready for launch sometime this weekend.

I don't think presets work in PSE 5. I was just trying to make it work the other day. While you can use ACR 4.2 with PSE 5 it appears it is only part of the program. There is no preset tab.
I'm really hoping I am wrong but this has been my experience.

Yay!!!! I can't wait for the new presets to come out! I love that you used Lightroom to create them. I have found a couple of presets that I like, but were only available for ACR. These are some I will definitely be getting!
